Oh No a New Year!!!
Well another year has vanished this has different meanings to each individual but to the die hard gym rat it means one thing masses of new people invading your space.
The top 6 things that annoyed me today while spinning my ass off
1. Perfume mostly that horrible kind your grand mother wore... Make-up but it doesn't really effect me
2. Spandex, Skins, Lycra what ever you want to call it is for people with under 10 percent body fat
3. People that loiter and just move around and talk
4. If you really want to change you life hire a trainer until you have a well developed routine
5. Cell phones come on people I am the original binary bitch and I leave my phone in the car
6. The dreaded butt crack was running rampant in the gym today, it was like a plumbers convention, come on

Jeff's Tips for a Healthy 2012
1. If you think you will diet and lose a few pounds dream on, you probably need to lose 2 or 3 times what you thought you should anyway
2. If you are truly serious about changing your life get a physical if you haven't had one in a while
3. Invest in a Vo2 max test http://www.brianmac.co.uk/ vo2max.htm learn where you are today
4. Once you have done the test you need a HR monitor in order to maximize your training
5. If you have never really trained, hire a trainer to start and to keep you motivated if you can't afford one Google is your friend, but still join a real gym
6. Don't eat any processed foods, Fresh Fresh Fresh and count what you consume, the Livestrong app for the iPhone is great for this
7. If you think you can read your book while working out you fall into #1 it's not easy suck it up and sweat
8. Motrin, Tylenol, Advil what ever your poison was thrown them all way, Ice and heat will be your new friends
9. Stretching is just good both before and after your work outs, increased flexibility is always a good think.
10. Your Core and lower back are key to transformation
11. Strength training along with daily cardio is key
